Ailsa Bay Distillery is a newer distillary based in Girvan. After eight years of production, Ailsa Bay's first official bottling as a single malt was a no-age-statement heavily peated whisky released in 2016. They are one of the only distilleries to use a process called 'micro-maturation' to distill and mature their whisky. So far the expressions they have realesed are peated whiskies.

Auchentoshan Distillery is a city based distillery, born and crafted in the heart of Glasgow; they say they're 'City-inspired since 1823'. The distillery triple-distill all their whisky which has the effect of softening the flavour and body of the end product. Although they have a long history, Auchentoshan are pushing forward and innovating to continue to produce top quality Single Malts.

Opened in 2017, Clydeside Distillery intends to create a malt whisky that reflects the city’s shipping heritage. They have brought together traditional and new at The Clydeside Distillery, using traditional techniques for making their new Clydeside Single Malt Scotch Whisky in a brand new and modern Distillery. As they are a newer distillery they are currently still producing their whisky and will release bottled Single Malts in the future.

Eden Mill Distillery was resurrected in 2012 with their own, new and innovative take on Scottish craft brewing and distilling. Eden Mill Distillery produce small-batch whisky; distinctive, full of flavour using local water sourced. In 2018 they released their first Single Malt Whisky and there are multiple expressions available. They also produce a successful range of gins using traditional distillation methods, the range is always growing as they add new and exciting flavour combinations.

The Glasgow Distillery Company began malt whisky production in 2015. The spirit produced by Glasgow distillery’s two copper pot stills is light and fruity before maturation in casks and they currently have their Single Malt Scotch Whisky available for pre-order. They also produce a range of other spirits including Makar Gin and their Spiced Rum.
