Cragganmore Distillery was founded in 1869, on the banks of the river Spey, and was one of the first distilleries to use the railway system for transportation allowing the whisky to reach an audience further afield. Cragganmore uses lightly peated malt, long fermentation, unusually shaped stills and worm tubs to produce a rich, meaty new make which adds a mix of citrus, spice and fruit as it matures.
Cragganmore Distillery is located in Ballindalloch, Moray, where they distill and produce Scotch Whisky.
