Pulteney Distillery is one of the most northerly distilleries on the Scottish mainland and they've been producing their maritime influenced spirits since 1826. Since then the process has not changed much and traditional methods are still adopted to produce their Single Malt. The core 12 year old expression is a deep amber colour, with the nose detecting a hint of sea air and it has a dry, medium-bodied and smooth taste with a clean, dry finish: faintly salty and with a slight sherry note.
