Established in the 1880’s it still stands today as an icon and symbol of the city itself and has cult status amongst its population and beyond. The recipe still a closely guarded family secret, it remains as much a part of local life as it has for over 130 years. Whilst still not widely known outside of Sheffield, it can increasingly be found in shops nationwide, or bought online and shipped across the world!

For four generations, the Baxter family have been handing down their expertise to produce some of the UK’s finest soups, preserves, condiments, beetroot and chutney.
