Abhainn Dearg is the only distillery on the Isle of Lewis and is locaed on its western coast making this officially the most remote whisky-making site in Scotland and was founded in 2008. In 2010 they launched their first Sigle Malt and in 2018 they launched their 10-year old Single Malt; the oldest Single Malt to come from the Outer Hebridies.

The Isle of Harris Distillery is a relatively new distillery which opened their doors in 2015, based in Tarbert. They are currently working on their first Single Malt Whisky which will be available in a few years. Their first whisky will be free from chill-filtering and naturally coloured, embodying all the character, soul and elemental nature of the Isle of Harris when it's finally ready to drink. They also distill a popular gin made with locally, and sustainably, sourced sugar kelp, to reflect the island of its heritage.

Highland Park Distillery is located on the rugged and wild landscape of Orkney which uniquely flavours and shapes their spirit. Highland Park is made today, just as it was in 1798, using five keystones of production: Aromatic Peat, Hand Turned Floor Maltings, Sherry Oak Casks, Cool Maturation and Cask Harmonisation; and these production techniques give Highland Park its unique character and flavour.

Scapa Distillery was founded in 1885. Uniquely Scapa was fitted with a Lomond still in the 1950s, and after some adjustments is is now used as a normal wash still with the rectifying plates removed. Scapa is a single malt forged by the extreme elements of Orkney; it is a surprisingly smooth and honeyed single malt whisky, a unique tasting profile for an island malt.

Talisker Distillery is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye and produces The Isle of Skye's only single malt which is an alluring, sweet, full-bodied single malt is so easy to enjoy. Talisker has retained the five still set-up and continues to produce a highly individual new make which mixes smoke, fruit, sulphur, salt and pepper and the malt is medium-peated.
