Lucy & Yak is a small ethical UK brand that started in 2013. They started by making dungarees with ethical yarn and now they have a range of clothing products and accessories all made ethically and sustainably.

Input

There is limited use of UK materials, however they use organic yarn which is certified by Global Organic Textile Standard and ethically sourced. For their fleeces they use recycled plastic bottles to create the polyester.

Design

All of their products are designed at their HQ and warehouse in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Make

Lucy & Yak manufacture all of their clothes in India. They have built a new factory and work with talented and ethical tailors in India. The new factory is working towards using green energy and they have installed solar panels as part of their new factory.
