The Borders Distillery is the first Scotch Whisky distillery in the Scottish Borders since 1837 and was commissioned 2018. As it is a new distillery they have not produced a Single Malt Scotch yet but they are set up to produce a light, fragrant and floral style of malt whisky. As their Single Malt is still ageing the distillery have created other spirits; William Kerr’s Borders Gin is distilled on site as is their small batch vodka.
The Old Bushmills Distillery can be found be found on the banks of the river in the small Northern Irish village of Antrim, an area with a long tradition of distillation dating back to the 13th century. Bushmills produces a wide range of malt and grain whiskies matured in sherry and bourbon casks. The historic distillery, established in 1604, has become a popular tourist destination with over 100,000 visitors each year.
The Lakes Distillery was established in 2011 and inspired by the majestic surroundings of their beautifully renovated Victorian farmstead in the Lake District National Park and can be found nestled on the north shore of Bassenthwaite Lake.
The largest distillery in England, they make a range of fine whiskies, gins and vodkas, blending science and art to ensure every flavour possibility is achieved.
