Camel Valley

Unique English style in the best possible way. Characteristic aromas of grapefruit, elderflower and green fruit, bright lemon in colour, good intensity, with a very fresh clean finish. Excellent to drink now but will remain fresh for two years, developing more honeyed characters. This wine pairs very well with seafood, particularly shellfish, and fresh summer salads.

Chapel Down

An aromatic wine with aromas of green apple, pear and kiwi. A great alternative to aromatic white wines, such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.

Flint Vineyard

This Bacchus was made from some of the ripest and cleanest grapes possible. In addition to this a small percentage of the grapes were picked on the cusp of ripeness. These differing ripeness levels give individual expressions of Bacchus; the ripe fruit producing tropical aromas and the just ripe fruit lending delicacy and freshness. The nose is intense and full of lime, gooseberries, cut herbs with an underlying elderflower fruit. On the palate the wine is crisp with a lovely texture that lends an excellent length. It pairs beautifully with smoked fish and spicy dishes and is wonderful at a BBQ on a hot summer’s day.

East Anglian Bacchus has a distinctive aromatic, slightly flinty quality though each season brings its own individuality. Most people love the gooseberry and elderflower notes. It is a dry wine but the perfume and depth of fruit make it appear more of a medium dry. It is, quite simply - delicious. In other English regions it can taste quite different. This is East Anglian Bacchus!

Lyme Bay Winery
