Very pale, lightly oaked; neutral and lemony. Think basic Muscadet or Italian "super-neutral" white. The oak softens the wine and give it a slightly buttery finish - honey on the nose, lovely with food or as an aperitif
It is typically English in style, displaying delicate fresh fruit and floral hedgerow characters on the nose. It displays great balance with a medium fruit intensity of medlars, white plums and fresh grapes that express the perfect ripeness. On the palate it is fresh and well rounded giving generous apple and citrus flavours.
It is a light and fragrant wine, medium dry in style with crisp green apple and honeysuckle notes. Delicious by itself whatever the occasion or with delicate fish and grilled chicken, salads and barbecues.
Blended to express the best of the Mller-Thurgau and Reichensteiner grapes, this pale straw-gold wine hints at kiwi and gooseberry before opening on the palate with fresh gooseberry and lime flavours, finishing with soft sweet pear.
