Electrium is an electrical equipment manufacturing and supply company that owns major UK brands Appleby, Crabtree, Volex and Wylex. Together they offer a broad range of domestic installation products from a simple light switch to consumer units. The company employs some 400 people in manufacturing operations in the UK, at Cannock, Wythenshawe, Hindley Green, and South Africa, and other markets, producing electrical installation products for the UK and international markets.
