Some Sirdar wool is made in Wakefield, England. The majority of their products are, however, made in Turkey.

A small-scale woollen yarn producer, operating a "green energy site" powered by renewable energy from hydro-electricity production. In addition to yarn they offer their own knitting kits, tartan throws and knitted fashion accessories.
